Lochlea Farmstay Backpacker offers a warm welcome to our friendly, cosy, comfortable accommodation with a tranquil atmosphere.

We run a small and quiet backpacker on a working sheep and beef farm in the middle of Hawkes Bay, where you can explore the real New Zealand life. All guests are welcome to view and participate in daily farm activities, see how to shear sheep, watch our well trained sheep dogs and much more. We are more than happy to answer all your questions about farming and give you a real first hand experience.
